She has been instrumental in advising and leading startups, served on advisory board and has held director level roles for large international Seed , Technology and Agribusiness companies such as Keygene, Bayer Crop Science, Nunhems, Limagrain, Hazera and Syngenta.

She has worked for industry, universities and (non) governmental organisations to develop and implement forward-looking initiatives in AgTech innovation. Areas of expertise are crop production, agronomy, seed development, biotechnology, genetics, trait development and data analytics. Proven success as CEO starting a AgTech company in the United States. An grew up on a family tomato greenhouse farm in Belgium and has a Master and PhD from the University of Leuven in Applied Bioengineering.
